The 154th session of the WHO Executive Board is taking place in Geneva from 22 to 27 January. Oleg Salagai, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Health of Russia, presented the BRICS Health Action Plan 2024 at a briefing for the delegations of the BRICS member countries.With new countries joining the association, Russia, as the chairing country, faces the task of involving Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia in the ongoing work on health care.The aim of the current Russian meeting was to present the areas of co-operation in the field of health within the framework of the Russian BRICS chairmanship in 2024.
